I wonder if you have seen the new advertisement for the Coca Cola Company’s soft drink called Fanta. The slogan in the advertisement is ‘Live Large. Drink Fanta. Stay Bamboocha.’ In the advertisement, two young men who look like inhabitants of a Central American country explain that the term ‘Bamboocha’ metaphorically means ‘Eating life with a big spoon.’

When I recently attended a family occasion in my home village, I spied a group of four women who have lived long, drinking Fanta, and eating food with ordinary spoons.
